There isn't a watersports knife quite like the the Gerber River Runner Knife.  There's nothing quite like frothing rapids and the Herculean force of water crashing around boulders to thrill the souls of whitewater rafters. Gerber built these beauties especially for the unique requirements of rafting, paddling and diving.

Most of the time you will only need your knife to spread cream cheese on your bagel. However, in case of a rescue situation where you need quick access to a knife, this knife is easy to pull from the sheath and comfortable to grip in a wet & cold environment. This mid-sized knife is a favorite among commercial river guides. Molded friction release sheaths clip to a belt or the lash tab on your PFD. The Gerber River Runner™ incorporates a half smooth, half serrated blade and a pointy tip for puncturing a broached boat.

Medium-carbon stainless steel is the core material, polished to within an inch of its life to limit corrosion. The blade is 3 inches of river runnin' versatility, with the serrated sharp side aiming up rather than down.

The sheath is constructed of a hard plastic, which is perfection in the wet world. It can receive the knife in two ways. And it can be worn on your belt, on your boot, or attached to your floatation vest.
